LongStoryShort

Public spaces come alive when stories are told in and about them.
LongStoryShort is a repository for local urban stories. Our aim is to
integrate words into the fabric of a space and our audience is local
people who would notice these small changes.

Our starting place was Arnold Circus in east London. We researched
the history of the area, explored its streets and found where words
and place met. In gaps that needed mending, we made repairs (where
possible) and with them included a note from history. We are continuing
this process in other areas of London and other cities around the world.

A small alteration inthe present allows a small link to the past.
